KristPort Airport
- Farmington Hills, Michigan
KristPort was a small airport with 3 unpaved runways that operated from 1936 to 1955.
Located at the northwest corner of 13mile & Orchard Lake roads in Farmington Hills, Michigan, the airport at one time boasted an admin building, repair shop and 10 hangers. The 140-acre airport was established by Chris Kristiansen who had hoped to boost the local economy by offering local air services, air freight and the sales of locally built aircraft.
Today all that remains of the airport is the admin building with control tower and the repair shop; all of which has been converted to a car wash and repair shop.
